What are different types of resources?

There three types of resources: natural, human and capital resources. A natural resource refers to elements or things found in the environment such as land, water and minerals. Human resource refers to people, while capital resources refer to money, tools and equipment.

Natural resources are part of a particular area’s ecosystem. They are the basis of all activities, including production of goods. Human resources are the people who provide the knowledge and labor required in the utilization of natural resources. Capital resources facilitate the use of natural resources. All three types of resources are used together to produce goods and services needed by humans for their survival.
