How difficult is it to get into Harvard?

Only 5.9 percent of applicants were accepted into Harvard in 2014. In order to be considered for admission, applicants must show that they are original and interesting, aside from having great GPA scores and high school advanced placement courses.

Harvard seeks students who demonstrate not only a passion for learning and an ability to achieve, but also a dedication to an individual pursuit that sets them apart from their peers. Applicants must show that in addition to being capable of learning, they must also have something to teach to their fellow students and even the faculty.
