Dust mites do not bite humans, though they may affect you in other ways. If you have a high humidity level and are struggling with allergies, dust mites may be the culprit. While they do not bite, they will eat dead skin cells from humans.
While dust mites do not bite humans, there are other types of mites that do. Scabies mites are the most common type of mite to cause bites, as well as intense itching. Hair follicle mites exist on most people in their skin inside the hair follicles. They bite slightly, though nothing compared to scabies mites.
