What is a dustless blaster used for?

A dustless blaster is primarily used to strip the paint off of a vehicle before it is repainted. A dustless blaster works by trapping the abrasive material in water inside the blast tank, which eliminates the dust normally produced stripping a vehicle with a sand blaster.
Dustless blasters commonly use recycled glass bottles as an abrasive, but almost any abrasive that doesn't dissolve and sinks in water works. Dustless blasters are typically faster than traditional sand blasters and can strip a vehicle in less than two hours. Professional businesses typically apply a rust inhibitor to the blast water to prevent flash rusting from the water used.
