What is an eBay consignment store?
By Forinfos - 14/05/2025 - 0 comments
An eBay consignment store sells a person's items at eBay on the person's behalf. The store prepares the listing, the images and handles shipping. In return, the store receives a commission from the sales.
Consignment stores often charge commission rates ranging between 15 and 40 percent. The exact amount depends on the final value of the listing, whether or not the sale is an auction and the business conditions of the individual consignment store. One reason that increases consignment store fees is that eBay charges a fee equal to at least 10 percent of the final sale value. While the 10 percent fee is limited to $750, eBay also charges fees for various listing services.
