What are the education requirements for Medco pharmacists?

A staff pharmacist should be a graduate of an ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy. He should have a current resident pharmacist license and be in good standing. At least one year of relevant experience is required.

Staff pharmacists may be assigned to Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, Technology Innovation Center, Therapeutic Resource Center, Pharmacy Technology Center or Pharmacy Fulfillment Operations.

Express Scripts acquired Medco Health Solutions in 2012. Other Express Scripts jobs for pharmacists include Prior Authorization Representative, Patient Care Advocate, Drug Safety Scientist and some supervisory and management positions.
