What is a class reunion?

A class reunion is a social function that seeks to reunite members of a graduating class from a secondary school. Class reunions can occur yearly, but more elaborate events are typically reserved for benchmark years, such as the 10th, 20th or 25th year following graduation.

Class reunions allow former students to gather and socialize with former classmates in a sentimental atmosphere. These reunions give classmates chances to reminisce about past experiences, to update one another on the progression of their lives and to remember former classmates who passed away. In addition to the students being invited back for class reunions, teachers and staff members may be invited.
