The Tempstar SmartComfort TXT+ is the most efficient of the brand's products, with a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio of up to 17, which ranks as high for Energy Star products. Other items in the SmartComfort Series range from a 15 SEER to a 13 SEER, which allows these products to also receive the Energy Star designation. The lowest efficiency Tempstar heat pumps are the Mini-Split Duct Free units, which have a 13 SEER and up to a 3-ton capacity.
