No announcement about an eighth season of the TV show "Doc Martin" has been made as of May 2015. However, the seventh season of the popular TV show is set to air in September 2015.

"Doc Martin" is a comedic drama that portrays the life and times of a doctor living in Cornwall, England, who has an insensitive and blunt mannerism and is quick to give his opinion. It stars Martin Clunes as Dr. Martin Ellingham with a supporting cast that includes Caroline Catz, Ian McNeicec, Joe Absolom and John Marquez. In the United States, "Doc Martin" airs on PBS. It is distributed by American Public Television.
