What is an electric wall oven?

An electric wall oven is an oven that is built into a wall or cabinets in the kitchen. Wall ovens are usually installed around counter height so users don't have to bend or stoop to use them. These built-in ovens are usually smaller than freestanding range ovens.

Like range ovens, the built-in versions come in either electric or gas. Electric wall ovens are usually less expensive, heat more evenly and have a greater selection than gas wall ovens.
