How else can you contact doctors other than their websites?

A telephone call is a way to contact a doctor other than using their website. In many instances, a nurse or secretary answers the phone, takes the information and relays it to the doctor. The doctor then returns the call or has their contact return the call.
Many doctors have a nurse on call available to answer questions. The nurse listens to the patient's concerns and is able to evaluate the symptoms in many cases. The nurse recommends the next steps to take, if necessary, and refers the patient to a representative to schedule an appointment. A few practices have a live chat option where the patient selects their concern and the proper person takes the chat from there.
