What is an embossed leather journal?
By Forinfos - 15/04/2025 - 0 comments
An embossed leather journal is a leather-bound journal that contains raised or sunken lettering or an all-over design. Color transfer, foil stamping or screen printing techniques may be used to create classic or elaborate cover designs.
Two separate techniques, embossing and debossing, create the finished embossed appearance. Embossing is the method of pressing the leather over specially cut dies to create a raised design. Debossing is the process of stamping the material from the top so that the design is sunk into the surface.
Embossing, using a person's name, a company logo or a small image, is the ideal way to personalize a journal, creating the perfect gift for any occasion.
