What is an endocrinology doctor?
By Forinfos - 02/08/2025 - 0 comments
An endocrinology doctor, known as an endocrinologist, is a doctor who specializes in diseases of the glands. Some of the common conditions that an endocrinology doctor treat include menopause, thyroid diseases and infertility.
Most endocrinologists treat those who have hormonal imbalances. When a patient is referred to an endocrinologist, the doctor attempts to diagnose the patient, and then begin a course of treatment. The goal of an endocrinologist is to treat the condition and restore the hormonal imbalance in the patient to normal levels. Most of the work that endocrinologists do eventually serves as a basis for research in medical studies to improve these glandular conditions.
