The base model 2015 Jeep Cherokee is equipped with a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine that provides 184 brake horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. A 3.2-liter, V6 Pentastar version of the engine with 271 brake horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque is also available on some models.
