Epiphyllum oxypetalum, commonly known as the Queen of the Night cactus, is a fragrant, flowering cactus plant. It is considered native to South America, including Mexico and Venezuela. It also grows in the more arid southern states in the United States.

The Epiphyllum oxypetalum has flowers that can grow up to 1 foot long that only appear at night. It makes a good container houseplant because the flowers flourish when root-bound. Epiphyllum oxypetalum in its natural habitat grows among trees along Central America and South America. It is one of the most cultivated species in the entire Epiphyllum genus. It is sometimes called night-blooming cereus, although it is not a cereus plant.
