Common applications for aluminum epoxy include the repair of machinery or tools by filling gaps caused by wear and tear, and bonding separate pieces of aluminum together. In industrial settings, aluminum epoxy can be used to secure bolts which fix heavy machinery to a factory floor.

Aluminum epoxy can also be used as a substitute for welding in some situations; however, it is unlikely to deliver the same strength as a weld.

Epoxies come in a variety of forms, most of which do not contain aluminum. They are used as gap fillers, bonding agents, paints, as molds or castings and in electrical and marine systems.
