Where does Eric Lomax live?

Eric Lomax, author of the acclaimed memoir "The Railway Man," passed away on October 8, 2012, in Berwick-upon-Tweed, England. This was his final place of residence.

Lomax resided in Berwick with his second wife, Patti, who survives him along with a daughter, Charmaine, from his first marriage. Lomax was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and he taught in Glasgow at Strathcylde University, from which he retired in 1982.

"The Railway Man" is part of a chronicle of his experiences as a Japanese prisoner of war during WWII. It was adapted into a feature film that was released in 2014 and starred Colin Firth as Lomax.
