Who is Erika Ranee Cosby?

Erika Ranee Cosby is the oldest child of Bill and Camille Hanks Cosby. She is also a contemporary American painter and goes by the professional name Erika Ranee. Paintings by Erika Ranee have appeared in many galleries, including one in the Smithsonian's National Museum of African Art.

Ms. Cosby was born on April 8, 1965, in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Wesleyan College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received a bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1989 from New York City's School of Visual Arts. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1991 with a Masters of Fine Arts degree. Ms. Cosby formerly worked as an adjunct art professor at New York University.
