What does the error code on a LG dryer mean?

LG dryers have six common fault codes in addition to others that a user might get when the dryer is malfunctioning. Depending on the model and series, the codes may vary.

The most common error code is EHE, which means that an irregular mains supply current has been supplied. The EHE error can be cleared by running the dryer for a complete cycle. The drive belt is broken when the machine reads 6E or bE.

A Low temperature thermistor open circuit is represented by tE1, and tE2 is a low temperature thermistor short. A high temperature thermistor open circuit is represented by tE3, and tE4 is a high temperature thermistor short circuit.
