How does eubacteria obtain energy?

Also known as true bacteria, eubacteria obtain energy from light and inorganic and organic chemicals. These bacteria reproduce asexually from spores that are resistant to dehydration and moist temperatures.

Eubacteria can also live up to 50 years when there is not food. They are a common form of bacteria because they can be found nearly anywhere. Thousands of people die each year from this bacteria, which occurs naturally in an individual’s stomach. Eubacteria can be used to make drugs, produce wine and make cheese. Common traits of eubacteria include a rigid cell wall and a lack of mitochondria and chloroplasts. If if it has a flagella, it is made of a single filament of flagellin.
