The number two Snapple cap "Real Fact" is "Animals that lay eggs don't have belly buttons." Number 21 is "Almonds are part of the peach family." Snapple began putting trivia on its tea caps in 2002.
Not all Snapple facts involve nature. For instance, fact 200 states "The first country to use postcards was Austria." Number 424 says "The ZIP in the ZIP code stands for Zone Improvement Plan."
Not all the information listed on Snapple caps has been accurate. For example, number 35 stated that elephants sleep only two hours per night, when three to seven hours is more accurate. Some cap facts, such as number 35, have been removed from Snapple's online numbered fact list.
