How do you extend folding table legs?

Apartment Therapy provides an easy method to extend the height of folding table legs using plumbing pipe. Table leg extensions or replacement table legs also can be purchased.

1. Get plumbing pipe

   Get a plumbing pipe for each leg of the folding table. The pipe, which is available at any hardware store, should be the length the table height is to be extended.

2. Unfold table

   Unfold the table legs, and ensure they are locked in place.

3. Place foot of each table leg inside a pipe

   The feet of the table legs should rest inside the pipes. Make sure table is level and stable.
