To find an eye doctor in your area that accepts Aetna insurance, visit Aetna.com. At the top of the Aetna home page, click on the link titled Find a Doctor and then on Search Our Public Aetna Medicare Directory.

After you click Search Our Public Aetna Medicare Directory, a new window opens up. Log in with your user name and password, or specify a state, ZIP code and health plan. Specify the type of health care provider that you are looking for. When you click Search, the website displays a list of health care providers in your area sorted by distance from the ZIP code provided.

You can also find health care providers by talking to your co-workers. Many of them may have an eye doctor that they like and that accepts the insurance provided by your employer.
