What are the factors of 10?
By Forinfos - 29/12/2025 - 0 comments
The factors of 10 are 1, 2, 5 and 10. These factors also include the negative numbers -1, -2, -5 and -10. A factor of a number is a whole number that can be divided from the original number resulting in a second whole number.
Because both positive and negative numbers are considered factors, the method for writing out the factors includes a combined + and - symbol (±). So for ease of reading, the factors of 10 are presented as ±1, ±2, ±5, and ±10. If a whole number is multiplied by a second whole number, both of those numbers are factors of the resulting number.
