The FamilyFun magazine website was launched in 2015. However, the FamilyFun Magazine was first launched in 1991 and was purchased by Disney Publishing Worldwide in 1992. The Meredith Corporation took over the magazine in 2012.

FamilyFun magazine was created for parents with children aged three to twelve. The articles focus on fun family experiences involving holidays, cooking, crafts, and a plethora of other family activities.

Elizabeth Anne-Shaw is the current editor-in-chief and the headquarters are located in New York City. Ten copies are published annually and can be purchased on the website. Users are able to shop on this website as well.
