One particularly famous couple in the Bible is Adam and Eve. Another famous couple in the Old Testament of the Bible is Abraham and Sarah.

According to the Bible, Adam and Eve were the first two people God created, with Adam having been created first. They lived worry free within a garden that God gave them with one stipulation: that they not eat from a particular tree. Eve eventually ate from the tree and persuaded Adam to do likewise, which displeased God greatly.

In the Bible, God promises Abraham and Sarah offspring. In old age, Sarah doubted God while Abraham continued to believe. God kept his promise to the couple, and Sarah gave birth to a son in her 90s.
