A famous landmark in Canada is Niagara Falls, located in Ontario. Niagara Falls is comprised of three waterfalls on the international border of Ontario and the U.S. state of New York.

The largest of the falls is the Horseshoe falls, followed by the American Falls and the smallest is Bridal Veil Falls. Both the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls are located on American soil. Horseshoe Falls is mainly on Canadian land. The falls are located on the Niagara River, which flows from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. The Horseshoe Falls drops approximately 188 feet. Niagara Falls is a popular tourist destination, with the boat tour Maid of the Mist operating since 1846.
