Some famous UCLA students include actors Jack Black, Sean Astin, Mila Kunis and James Franco. Famous directors Francis Ford Coppola, David Silverman and Rob Reiner also attended UCLA.

The University of California, Los Angeles is home to a notable film and music school. It offers more than 300 degree programs. In addition to famous actors and musicians, the school boasts other well-known alumni like journalist Laura Ling, attorney Robert Shapiro and Tom Anderson, the founder of MySpace. UCLA also has its share of famous teachers, including Warren Christopher, a professor of foreign policy. Former Vice President Al Gore served as a visiting professor at the school.
