Which fashion colleges are typically considered some of the best?

Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and Parsons the New School for Design are the two top fashion colleges in the United States. Other top fashion schools include Savannah College of School and Design, Kent State University, Pratt Institute, Drexel University, Rhode Island School of Design, and Academy of Art University.

The top two colleges, FIT and Parsons, are both located in New York City. FIT offers both associate and bachelor's degrees. As a specialty school, it is able to offer degrees in highly specific fields of fashion such as knitwear or athletic footwear. Parsons is a similarly renowned school with programs in fashion design and fashion studies, as well as other design degrees.
