The fastest transatlantic crossing made by the Concorde was on Feb. 7, 1996, when the aircraft traveled from New York to London in two hours, 52 minutes, 59 seconds. The Concorde had a landing speed of 187 mph. The aircraft made its final commercial flight on Oct. 24, 2003.
