Billy the Kid, who was also known as Henry McCarty or William H. Bonney, is also revered as a deadly outlaw.

Some regard Billy the Kid as the most legendary of all Old West personalities. He is rumored to have killed 26 people, and he lived to be just 21 years of age. He was killed by Sheriff Pat Garrett after escaping from jail in an attempt to avoid a death sentence.
