BC Ferries operates the primary ferry between Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia. This company uses the Tsawwassen terminal in Vancouver and the Swartz Bay terminal in Victoria.

The ferry ride usually takes about 90 minutes. From June 24 to September 7, ferries depart from Vancouver every hour from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., although certain days have departures as late as 10 p.m. Ferry tickets can be booked either online or at the terminal. As of May 12, 2015, the fare for anyone over 12 years of age is $16.90 CAN. The standard vehicle fee, which covers cars up to a length of 20 feet, is $55.40 CAN.
