How do you figure how many months you have been alive?

To determine the number of months you've been alive, you must first multiply your age by 12. Then, add the number of months that have passed since your last birthday.

1. Document your current age

   Write your age down on a sheet of paper, or type it into a calculator.

2. Multiply your age by 12

   Multiply your age by 12, since there are 12 months in each year.

3. Add the number of months since your last birthday

   Count the number of months have passed since your last birthday, and add that number to your total from the previous step. Your answer is the number of months you've been alive.
