Steven Seagal has starred in more than 40 films, including "Hard to Kill," "Above the Law," "Marked for Death," "Under Siege" and "On Deadly Ground." As of 2015, his most recent films include "Gutshot Straight" and "Mercenary: Absolution."

Seagal made his film debut in 1988's "Above the Law." He played Nico Tosconi, a Vietnam vet working as a Chicago cop who uncovers CIA wrongdoing. His most famous role is Casey Ryback in the 1992 film "Under Siege." The sequel, "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory," was released in 1995. In his films, Seagal often plays the role of a police officer, for example in "Hard to Kill" and "The Glimmer Man."
