What is a fingerprint time clock?

Fingerprint time clock technology reads employee fingerprints for clocking in and out, surpassing mechanical and digital clocking for accuracy and efficiency. Employers may choose from basic USB readers to very advanced fingerprint clocking solutions.

The basic EC20 USB fingerprint reader interfaces with tablets and computers, providing technology that is portable and economical. Employees easily register their fingerprints, which employers then upload to the appropriate time clocks.

To register, the employee clicks the Capture button and follows the instructions in the square box on the display, placing an index or middle finger from either hand on the glass to capture the fingerprint when prompted.
