Fireball Whisky is a popular Canadian whiskey-based liqueur with a prominent hot cinnamon flavor. Fireball Whisky was developed in Canada in the mid-1980s but didn't reach the worldwide popularity it enjoys today until about 2012. At 33 percent alcohol content, Fireball Whisky is most often consumed in straight shot form.
Fireball Whisky is a cinnamon schnapps that tastes strikingly similar to the well-known Ferrara Candy product Atomic Fireball. Fireball Whisky was developed in the mid-1980s by Seagram's and now holds a spot as one of the most popular liquor brands in the United States, surpassing Jameson Irish Whiskey and Patron Tequila in sales in 2013.
