The first book of Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove Series is titled "16 Lighthouse Road." Macomber released the book in 2001 and would go on to release one book in the Cedar Cover series per year for the next ten years.

The Cedar Cove series contains twelve books, beginning with "16 Lighthouse Road." Two Christmas-themed novels were also released pertaining to the Cedar Cove storyline. The book series focuses on Judge Olivia Lockheart and her relationships with the people of Cedar Cove, both in and out court. In 2013, the Hallmark Channel adapted the Cedar Cove books into a successful television series.
