What is a Fitbit base station?
By Forinfos - 10/07/2025 - 0 comments
A Fitbit base station charges the tracking device and allows it to sync recorded data to a computer loaded with Fitbit software. Fitbit devices track how many calories users burn, how many steps they walk and how many hours they sleep. Some devices also track heart-rate data.
The Fitbit wirelessly loads data into the base station whenever it's within 15 feet of the station. The tracking devices also sync whenever they are plugged into the base stations. Although the base station charges only one device at a time, it can sync with multiple tracking devices, allowing family members to share a station.
