What is the flap of skin under a turkey’s chin called?

The flap of skin under a turkey's chin may be known as a dewlap or a wattle; though the wattle is more evident in male turkeys, both male and females have this anatomical feature. This flap of skin stretches from the turkey's neck to a point on the head just under the beak.
Though both male and female turkeys have this anatomical feature, the male's is not only more noticeable but also has additional features. When a male, or tom, turkey gets excited, its dewlap will become bright red. This is similar in function to other turkey features, including the snood and the caruncles.
