What is a flipped classroom?
By Forinfos - 25/04/2026 - 0 comments
A flipped classroom is when students learn the course material outside of the traditional classroom setting and focus on concept enrichment and mastery during classroom time. Students view the lectures online and take notes at home, using classroom time to tackle problems with the lesson content or completing assignments.
This is considered a flipped classroom model because teachers are no longer using classroom time for instruction and sending students home with homework. Teachers are providing a platform for instruction to take place at home, or wherever the student has access to the online lectures, and then using classroom time to illustrate the concepts and assess student strengths and weaknesses.
