How do you get a Florida Certification of Destruction title?
By Forinfos - 27/04/2025 - 0 comments
To apply for a Florida salvage title, the car owner will need a completed Application for Salvage Title/Certificate of Destruction, an original title for the vehicle and the applicable fees. These documents need to be taken to the local tax collector's office for processing.
If the vehicle in question was damaged in an auto accident, the insurance company may take care of filing the necessary paperwork for the insured. If an insurance company is not involved, the car owner will need to file the paperwork himself. The Application for Salvage Title/Certificate of Destruction can be downloaded from the DMV website or owners can call (850) 617-2000 to have one mailed to them.
