Are foggers effective in eliminating bed bugs?

Foggers are, for the most part, not effective in eliminating a bed bug infestation. This is due to the size of the insects and the fact that they tend to hide in voids and crevices, where aerosol fogger solutions do not reach.
Most other forms of commercial insecticides are effective in eliminating bed bugs, if used properly and applied directly to the bugs or their hiding places. One specific type of insecticide that has shown promise in taking care of bed bug problems is Diatomaceous Earth, an abrasive dust that dries out the bed bugs as it comes into contact with them.
