What is a good pork chop marinade recipe?

Grilled Pork Chop Marinade

This marinade works best when allowed to sit on the meat for at least 12 hours. It works well as an overnight marinade.

Ingredients:

• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/2 teaspoon oregano
• 1/3 cup olive oil
• 1/4 cup lemon juice
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• Black pepper to taste
• 2 pork chops

1. Combine all the ingredients well.
2. Place the pork chops in a Ziploc bag and pour the marinade over the top. Seal the bag and place it in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
3. Grill the pork for about 10 minutes on each side or until it is no longer pink.

Other flavors that work well in a pork marinade include Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, pineapple juice and garlic. Most marinades work best when left on the pork for at least 4 hours, but the longer a marinade is allowed to sit on the meat, the more flavorful and tender it will be. The pork may be grilled, broiled or baked.
