What football team did Gordon Ramsay play for?

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay played for the Glasgow Rangers, a profesional soccer team. He joined the team at age 15. However, he suffered a knee injury and was forced to retire from the sport in 1985 after three years with the club.

After turning away from his first career love, Ramsay started a second career by attending college for hotel management and apprenticing to top chefs including Marco Pierre White, Albert Roux, Jol Robuchon and Guy Savoy. He became the head chef at the Aubergine restaurant in 1993 where he earned a two-star Michelin rating.

Ramsay is the star of two television programs, "Hells Kitchen" and "Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares."
