What is the format for a memorandum of agreement?

By Forinfos - 29/12/2025 - 0 comments

A memorandum of agreement uses Roman numerals to signify the five sections, while Arabic numerals are used elsewhere. The five sections are the purpose of the agreement, a detailed description of roles and responsibilities, the payment schedule (not always necessary), the duration of the agreement and signatures of parties' principals.

The section headlines should be in bold, and parties can use subheadlines in bold italics and italics under the section headlines. For example, the detailed description of roles and responsibilities section might have a bold italics subheadline for each party in the agreement, with subheaders in italics further signifying each area of responsibility. Items in lists should be numbered using 1., 2., 3. and so on.
