Why does the front end of a car squeak after going across a bump?
By Forinfos - 17/04/2025 - 0 comments
The front end of the car usually houses the vehicle's suspension, and squeaky noises are a sign that one of the components is failing. Some possible worn parts include shocks, struts, control arms, ball joints and bushings.
Unfortunately, it's not always easy to tell which parts need replacing. Sometimes, worn parts on the suspension will have an orange dust around them. However, for those who are not familiar enough with cars to determine the cause of the sound, it is better to have a reputable mechanic take a look. Improper home repairs done by those trying to save a dollar or two may find the repairs cost more in the long run.
