Mary Travers of 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary was 5 feet 10 inches tall, according to a Bloomberg News obituary. Travers died in 2009 at the age of 72.
Travers was known for her height, her long blond hair and her distinctive singing voice. The trio recorded protest songs that became anthems of the civil rights movement and performed at the March on Washington, where the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech.
Some of the trio's most famous songs include "If I Had a Hammer," "Blowin' in the Wind," "Leaving on a Jet Plane" and "Puff the Magic Dragon."
