What are some funny lizards?

Many funny-looking lizards can be found both in the wild and as house pets. Chameleons have huge eyes, big bodies and skinny legs. Basilisks look odd when they run on their back legs and can even run on water, which is why they are sometimes called the Jesus Christ Lizard.

The Flying Dragon looks like a flat, multicolored pancake. This lizard uses its tail to steer and brake as it leaps through the air. The Frilled Lizard, with its frilly collar that opens when threatened, resembles a Victorian lady. Geckos come in many different colors and often make strange faces when eating.
