What is a furnace blower fan?

The blower fan, sometimes referred to as just a blower or fan, is used to circulate the hot air that is created by a furnace. All types of forced hot air furnaces come equipped with one.
When the hot air is created by the furnace, usually from using oil, wood or natural gas as fuel, it then needs a way to escape in order to heat a home or room. The blower allows the air to escape, as once it turns on, it helps push the heat through the plenum and out into the home or space to be heated.
