What is fuzzy logic?

Fuzzy logic is an approach to reasoning and computer logic that focuses on many values, unlike the simpler, binary form of logic. In computing, fuzzy logic refers to the concept of degrees of truth, rather than Boolean logic, which is the basis of binary code and the modern computer.
Fuzzy logic was developed as an attempt to make computers understand natural language, rather than the absolute language of the binary code, in which everything is defined as either 0 or 1. Fuzzy logic defines 0 and 1 as absolute cases of truth, and defines everything between 0 and 1 as partial truths.
